Born 1969. Graduated in dramaturgy at the University of Århus, 1993. Producer from 1995-98. Member of the filmproduction school Super16. Since 1993, Holmberg has directed a number of short films, documentaries and commercials.
Two of her children's films were awarded at international festivals: "Tro, håb og Batman"/"Faith, Hope and Batman" (2000), awarded 1st Prize at Chicago, and "Kys kys"/"Kiss Kiss" (2001), awarded Best Film Athens Olympia. "Tæl til 100"/"Count to 100«", her feature film debut, was honoured at Oulu, Poznan and Athens.
