Cem is a young Turk living in Denmark. He is tired of being associated with terrorism, just because other young Muslims around the world are blowing themselves and innocent people up in the name of God. Cem decides to find out for himself what makes young Muslims so fanatical about religion, even though western countries provide both education and the promise of a future. During his research Cem comes face-to-face with his own reflection: a young guy with a similar background. The man is Abdul Kadir and he is serving a sentence for planning an act of terrorism in Bosnia. Cem sets out on a journey to meet the imprisoned Kadir - a journey that takes him back in time to find out why two very similar boys have opted for such different directions in life. To Cem's astonishment he learns that it is all simply a coincidence.
