Sofie's Heart is a story about 6-year-old Sofie. Sofie is visiting her grandmother for the first time since her twin brother Magnus died. They were playing hide and seek when Magnus fell from the tree, and it's troubled times for Sofie, now that she's alone and misses him. But grandmom is also tormented by sorrow and despair. She must use her knowledge and experience to help Sofie open her eyes and heart and relive the grief for later to restore her appetite for life. Sofie's heart is a film about the strong ties between child and grandparents and the importance of having someone to hold and talk to.
