Ernst and Mother board a train heading out of town. Inside the train, Mother locates their seats. Ernst goes outside the compartment into the passageway and takes a look out the window. The train stops at a station. Ernst gets his eye on a waffle stand on the platform. He runs back to his compartment ¿ but Mother is gone. Ernst suddenly sees his mother on the platform. Ernst gets off the train to look for her.
