When Leo, violent and rash, finds out that his girlfriend Louise is pregnant, the prospect of starting a family and the commitment this involves, sparks off a smouldering hatred of himself, perhaps also because the relationship has no future. He becomes more and more aggressive, but is incapable of giving voice to his anger. Only the violence he so passionately detests speaks a sufficiently clear but tragic language. »Bleeder« also describes the course of life for Lenny, who also relates to violence, but only in the movies. He observes real life through film, but does fall for Lea, a waitress, who dreams of another reality through literature and the hope of love. Leo and Lenny reflect each other in the way they develop and go off in opposite directions, but perhaps they are two sides of the same person, merely at different stages in life.
foretages kun for "launch"-festivaler ifølge Filminstituttets prioriterede festivalliste. Se listen over prioriterede festivaler.
