Kamikaze is a moving new drama series from HBO Max. The story revolves around the 18-year-old, fierce, charming main character, Julie, and her existential struggle back to life, after losing her parents and brother in a plane crash in Rwanda. Suddenly, she finds herself alone in a large mansion with two expensive cars in the garage, and, in theory, everything that most people only dream of: youth, beauty and money – lots of money. The loss of her family forces Julie to find a reason to go on, and she embarks on a turbulent journey of rediscovery that takes her from her native Denmark to the far corners of the world. The series is based on the novel Muleum by Erlend Loe.
