On 21 October 1984 Danish musician Lars HUG performed two shows with his first solo album "City Slang" based upon the debut poetry collection of the same name by danish poet Søren Ulrik Thomsen. The recordings from this show became a 27-minute video show, which was shown on DR TV in April 1985. Since then no one has seen it. In 2008 the old TV masters re-appeared and the director Torben Skjødt Jensen has since been working to find more clips and archival material from that time. The old video footage from the shows has been lost, but the director has managed to assemble all 11 tracks from the album and the film is thus presented with a restored soundtrack. The film contains interviews with every one who was originally involved; both Lars HUG, Finn Verwollt, Kim Jansson and Søren Ulrik Thomsen, who reads the poems from his own poetry collection.
